1 of only 2,651 woodie convertibles believed to have been produced in 1947. Meticulous, concours level restoration completed in the early 1990’s. This woodie was also listed in the Town & Country Registry. It would be near impossible to find one nicer!
Refinished in its original Dove Gray with a Burgundy convertible top and AMAZING Highlander Plaid style interior. The body and paint are in excellent condition, and there will be no surprises with a restoration of this quality holding up for 30+ years as this one has.
Close to $40k was spent recently on upgraded, extremely high-quality Highlander Plaid inspired interior! The power convertible top works and is in great shape, other than a small hole from an unfortunate incident with a lightbulb (see photos).
Powered by a 323ci Spitfire Straight 8-cylinder engine, mated to a 2-speed Fluid Drive transmission. It also has dual spotlights, fog lights, AM radio, clock, under dash heater with defrost, full size spare in trunk, bumper guards, etc!
It’s hard to capture how stunning this woodie is in photos, it’s truly breathtaking in person!
